Registration and Account Security.In order to become a LIA User, you must provide the following minimal amount of information: first name, last name, a password and valid email account. Without this minimal amount of information, you cannot create a LIA account. LIA requests additional information during the registration process (e.g. location, gender, etc…). Please do not provide fictitious information or create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission. Here are some additional information for registering and maintaining security:
- You will not use LIA if you are 16 years or younger.
- You will not use lia-na.com if you are a convicted sex offender (background checks will be performed.) You must call for Re-Entry Services.
- You will not transfer your account, password, information, application or page to anyone without written permission.
If you select an inappropriate username or similar identifier for your account or Page, we reserve the right to remove or reclaim it, so please select an appropriate username.
Contacts Information.In order to connect with others on LIA, you may use the services to send invitations, send emails or connect with others by the social networking on the website. Please remember when you connect, send emails or invitations to other Users; that User will have access to some of your information such as your email address. Using the LIA Site and Applications (Mobile and Devices) Your information can be shared with friends and others when you interact with and use LIA website using applications such as iPhone, Android, etc….). You will be able to upload pictures, chat, join networking groups and make suggestions and recommendations.
Communication.As part of the agreement between LIA and Users, we will keep an open communication with you through email, messages to your inbox, blogs, text messages or other available services. These emails, texts, etc. may include the following: promotional events, features, updates to the website or other related information. At any time, you can opt-out of receiving only promotional email by sending a request to our customer service database. Please remember, if we send communications to your mobile device (iPhone, Samsung, iPad, etc…), you understand you will pay any services fees associated with your subscription upon receipt.
ServicesPart of LIA’s commitment is to always seek and provide updated services to all users. As a result, we will allow Users to make recommendations or suggest certain services they would like to see improve or add to LIA’s website. We have the right to replace, modify, and change all or any part of the services provided to all our users. All services are subject to changes upon their posting on our site or by direct communication. In addition, LIA has the right to withhold, remove or discard any content that is part of your account, with or without notice if deemed to be contrary to the user guide. In addition, your personal information is used to deliver and provide the best services or carry out transactions you have requested; processing orders’ answering customer inquiries and many others.
If you purchase any service that we offer for a fee, you agree to pay applicable fees, as well as related taxes and to reimburse us for all collection costs and interest for any cancellation fees and/or overdue amounts. Please remember all services or products paid by ordering through the PayPal servers are to adhere to PayPal terms and policies. Cancellation PolicyIn the event that you would like to cancel your order, all orders must be cancelled within 12 hours of purchase in order to get a full refund. Within 24 hours, only 30% of the money will be refunded. If you decide to cancel your purchase after 24 hours, the cancellation fee is $175. ***Payments are paid in full prior to work commencing. Project Turn-AroundTurnaround to complete any résumé is 5 business days (unless advised otherwise for larger projects); once we receive your completed questionnaire and additional paperwork, we will create a case for you and will start on your résumé (e.g. current résumé, certificates, etc…) Questionnaires and additional paperwork must be returned to LIA within 3 weeks from purchasing the service. Information not received within this timeframe could mean your case/project will be queued or completed upon availability. Completed résumés are good in our system for 1 year from the time of order placement. Your case will stay open in order for you to continue to network; if changes have been made to LIA résumé services, then current price details will apply.
Review and RevisionsFinal proofreading is the responsibility of the client, and all changes must be made within 15 days of receiving the first draft. This must be done within this timeframe to receive a first draft review/revision service. Any changes following for first initial draft will be charged at a standard rate of $100 per hour; any correction following the second revision is $2.00 per correction.
Closing / Deactivate Your AccountYou can close your account or deactivate your account at any time through the LIA customer service site. If you close your LIA account, we will remove your name and other personally identifiable information from our publicly viewable database. We are not obligated to retain your information and we may delete any or all of your information from your account without liability. You should only delete your account if you are sure you’ll never reactivate your account. However, we may retain certain data contributed by you if LIA believes there is a threat or to prevent fraud.
Warranties and LiabilitiesAll information you provide LIA is yours to own. You grant LIA a nonexclusive, irrevocable, perpetual, unlimited, and fully royalty-free right to us to copy. Any information you submit to us is at your own risk. Additionally, LIA is not a temp agency, job placement center or guarantee employment success. Our clients’ successes are directly dependent upon the hard work, dedication and commitment they put into fully integrating with their job-hunt endeavors. LIA’s goal is to provide the best-unparalleled services to our clients. It is the responsibility of the client to submit information, and that the information is accurate, not confidential and not in violation of any contractual restrictions, in addition, to work collaboratively with the writer or career counselor to complete the project or other related areas. If the client decides or refuses to cooperate with any counselors and/or writer in the questionnaire process or gathering of information, then LIA can cancel the project with no monies owing to the client. LIA strongly encourages client participation to ensure the best possible outcome. In the case that a client gets a job and then receives possible repercussions from such action, including dismissal by their employer, LIA will not be responsible from any type of repercussion caused by the client and/or employer. Lia-na.com is a database website; therefore, we cannot guarantee that the documents scanned to the company will appear picture perfect on every computer screen, or the services will function without interruption or errors due to updates, maintenances or damages. While we will take every step to ensure the best possible services as possible, some issues are beyond our control and require some minor adjustments.
