LIA is making strides toward becoming CMMC 2.0 Level 2 Certified! CMMC is the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification designated by the Department of Defense (DoD). To safeguard national security information, The DoD launched CMMC 2.0, a comprehensive framework to protect the defense industrial base’s (DIB) sensitive unclassified information from frequent and increasingly complex cyberattacks. CMMC Level 2 practices are classified as advanced cyber hygiene practices. CMMC Level 2 is needed for DoD contractors and subcontractors that handle the same type of controlled unclassified information (CUI). LIA is scheduled to complete this by the end of Spring.
